I finally posted the last pregnancy picture- 9 months (see a few posts earlier with the baby bump pictures).
I CAN'T EVEN BELIEVE MY DUE DATE IS 3 WEEKS AWAY! It's amazing! Every day Grant and I talk about how we can't wait to meet our little son. It makes us so happy to think about what he will be like.
Nothing has ever been so exciting to me before!!!
I have to say that I feel like my pregnancy has gone really well (so far...which seems pretty far to me).
I decided to make a list of pros and cons that have happened during this pregnancy... although really in my mind it's all been a Pro because anything is worth going through to being able to have your own beautiful little child:
Pros:
-I didn't get enormous, but still stayed at a healthy weight gain/size
-I had a low risk pregnancy
-I haven't really abhorred any foods
-No stretch marks (I honestly didn't think it was possible to NOT get stretch marks...miracle!)
-It's a boy (yes I would have said this if it was a girl too :) )
-I have been able to exercise throughout my whole pregnancy...even though some days it's a lot of effort to push myself to exercise (yeeeeah prenatal pilates! Grant and I are really hoping that will help me out when it comes to delivery... we'll see!)
-I still love chocolate (this may be a con...)
-For the most part, I still have a lot of energy and I'm feeling great! (besides sore feet from teaching)
Cons:
-Being diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes and having to prick myself every day. Although, I've been able to maintain a very healthy glucose level and now only have to prick myself 1 time a day instead of 6!
-Being almost 7 months pregnant in Utah in August. Yes, we have AC, but this little guy is a little heater! At least I was only 7 months pregnant, and not 9!
I feel blessed. WE CAN'T WAIT TO MEET YOU LITTLE GANNAWAY, WE LOVE YOU!
